Terms of Service

Welcome to Lumora ("Lumora", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lumora mobile application (the "App") and any related services. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use Lumora. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.

2. Your Account

You may sign in to Lumora using Google or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect any unauthorized use.

3. What Lumora Does

Lumora lets you upload a photo of yourself ("selfie") and generates an AI-edited preview showing a makeup look and/or matched product suggestions ("Looks"). Looks are generated using third-party AI image processing services and are provided for entertainment, styling inspiration, and shopping-guidance purposes only.

• Generated Looks are AI approximations and may not perfectly reflect real-world results of any product.
• Product suggestions are not guarantees of availability, price, or fit for your skin tone or features.
• You are solely responsible for the photos you upload — only upload photos of yourself, or of others who have given you permission.

4. Subscriptions & Purchases

Lumora offers a free tier with a limited number of Looks per month, and an optional paid subscription ("Lumora Premium") for unlimited Looks and additional features. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, in accordance with the pricing and billing cycle (monthly or yearly) shown at checkout.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies — Lumora does not process payments or refunds directly.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload photos of anyone without their consent, or of minors other than your own with parental authority;
• Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload Lumora's systems or the third-party AI services it relies on;
• Use generated Looks to impersonate, defame, or deceive others.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and its underlying technology are owned by Lumora and its licensors. You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By using the App, you grant Lumora a limited license to process your photos solely to generate your Looks and provide the service to you.

7. Third-Party Services

Lumora relies on third-party providers to operate, including cloud infrastructure and AI image-processing providers, and payment platforms (Apple App Store / Google Play). Your use of the App is also subject to those providers' own terms where applicable.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Lumora is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that Looks or product matches will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free. Lumora is not a substitute for professional beauty, dermatological, or medical advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any dissatisfaction with a purchased product based on a generated Look.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
