This Privacy Policy describes how the Forecast Blend app ("the app", "we") collects, uses, and protects user information. By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account information: email address, name (if provided), and sign-in identifier when you create an account or sign in via email/password, Google, or Apple (Sign in with Apple).
• Location data: with your permission, your geographic position (or a city you search for manually) to display the corresponding weather forecast. Precise location is never shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
• Purchase data: if you subscribe to a premium plan, transaction information (subscription status, date, product identifier) is processed by Apple and our subscription management provider (RevenueCat) to validate your access to premium features. We never have access to your payment details.
• App preferences: temperature unit, wind unit, favorite cities, language, theme (light/dark).
• Technical data: device identifiers needed to send notifications, technical logs in case of errors, used only to keep the app running properly.

2. How We Use This Information

• Provide weather forecasts for your location or the cities you follow.
• Create and manage your user account.
• Manage premium subscriptions and unlock the corresponding features.
• Send daily weather notifications if you have enabled this feature.
• Improve the reliability and performance of the app.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Some data is shared only with providers strictly necessary for the app to function:

• Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
• Open-Meteo — weather data provider (no personally identifiable information is transmitted, only geographic coordinates).
• RevenueCat / Apple App Store — subscription and purchase processing.
• Google / Apple — authentication, if you choose to sign in via these services.

4. Data Retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account remains active. You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

5. Your Rights

You may at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw your consent to location collection via your device settings.

6. Security

We implement reasonable measures (encrypted communications, secure authentication) to protect your information against unauthorized access.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from this age group.
